The Dormy Hotel.
We stayed here upon on our arrival on Saturday, July 22 - Wednesday July 26.
Across from Japan's biggest Starbucks, where we took the photo above from the Starbucks balcony.

Upon entering our room, there is an alcove to remove your shoes and put on the slippers. This in in the far right of the photo there is also a really long shoehorn for putting your shoes back on.
There is a closet alcove to the right, then a door we can shut before the bedroom. Through the doorway you can see the edge of a sink counter.

Our room is two twin beds.
The white squares above our heads are reading lights with a dimmer wheel.
Also, one bed has buttons to turn off the overhead light, the bathroom light, and has a flashlight.
The desk alcove is to the right of the photo.
Pillow too warm? There is a cooler in the lobby filled with ice packs with pillowcases nearby to keep you cool. Also, manga available for you to borrow.

The left remote works the overhead light.
Brightness, color of light, bedtime setting, and something else I didn't figure out.
Middle remote is the air conditioner.
Temp, wind blowing strength, and more.
The right remote is the tv.

This is the bathroom. The toilet, another sink, and the bath/shower are here. You need to step up twelve inches to go into the room.
The sink faucet has a leaver on the right that turns it to faucet or shower head. The leaver on the left changes the temperature. The body wash, shampoo, conditioner are full sized with a pump. Things like individual comb, toothbrush, hair clip, razor, are available in the lobby in baskets.

Toilets are fancy! Most places I've been so far (four days in Tokyo) do at least this much. Good for lowering toilet paper waste.

The outer room of the hot bath.
No, I should not have my phone. I took it down because I was thinking "how do I know when it's 10:00 to leave?" Duh, there are clocks in there because Japanese are brilliant and think of everything. Doesn't solve the problem that I can't see without my glasses, but maybe a gentle chime goes off at 10 pm or something.
This is the outer area

This is the inner area. You sit on a plastic stool on the right side to wash. You don't go in the water till you're clean. Don't submerge your head under the water. The big area was hot bath. The small area is cold bath. There is a cedarwood dry sauna anseen on the left.
After hot bath, there are ice cream popcicles available in the lobby. There is also bowls of noodles available from 9:30 pm - 1 am.

Tattoos are not allowed in onsen or the hot bath. This hotel has an individual hot bath available by reservation in fourty minute blocks. Since this hotel only has one large onsen, I was able to book the individual onsen while it was Men's Evening on Tuesday in the big onsen.
This one begins with a locked door to the hallway. Then an alcove where you take off your shoes and put on slippers. But I was wearing my slippers from the bedroom, so I'm not sure if my bedroom slippers shouldn't have left the bedroom, or if people come straight here sometimes before going to their room. The big onsen had cubbys for your shoes/slippers, but no slippers to borrow.
Past the alcove, there is the entrance shown above with toilet and sink. You can close and lock this door. I have my phone with me for the timer feature so I don't leave late.

There is a sliding door between the sink / toilet room and the bath room.
First on the right you wash and rinse yourself while sitting on the stool. Then you may soak in the bath. The digital screen shows the water temp and time. I actually didn't mess with it to see what else it does (surprisingly!)

You push here on the door with your fingertip. Then they open sideways. Less work than opening a door. Not always opening and closing like a motion detecting door.
