Komatsukan Kofutei Hotel

We pulled up in a taxi and got out to get our luggage. Little old bellhop man comes flying over to us with a paper in hand

"Checking in?"

I nod yes.

He holds his paper up and points at the one name written in Roman characters.

I just laugh and say yes and nod. 🤣

This place is all about the view of the pine covered islands.

Room is Japanese style. First it opens into an alcove where you take off your shoes. The paper doors open into the main tatimi mat floor room. Fresh lisanthus flowers.

The toilet/shower room is to the left of the alcove.

There is a faucet that runs fresh water into the toilet when you flush it.

There is a sink and counter space in the toilet room.

There is another sink on the right hand side of the alcove.

There is a light panel in the main bedroom with five levels of light to choose from.

While we were out for dinner they came and set up our futons on the floor. The white part is a fitted sheet that goes on the thick duvet layer. No additional loose sheet between that and the floor mattress.

There is a hot water foot bath on the beck deck. You are looking East-Soth-East in this photo.

There is hot mineral water flowing into the rectangle. You sit on the deck clothed and can soak your feet.

This hot bath looks out over the water at the pine trees and islands. The angled corner of stone edge of the pool on the left is about due East. The hot bath opened today at 4 am. Sunrise was 4:34 am.

The round thing in the hot water is a circular stone with hot water flowing out the top.

Set breakfast.

White rice (I could have chosen seafood rice which came cooked with muscles in it)

White yogurt with red berry sauce.

White bowl has a warm white jelly made with mushrooms?

Yellow boat filled with shredded whitefish. Glass bowl with pickled veg and fish roe. These are on the top layer of a three layer tray.

These orchids are all over the lobby. The signs that I Google translated all came out something like "Happy Opening!" , and the flowers were from travel agencies.
